Why do you want to kill him?

[ Yuri isn't particularly close to Greed. If anything, their relationship is just the two of them feeding off of each other when one of them has something the other wants. If there's no reason he needs to die outside of the fact that he's a mild pest, kind of sexist, and some other stuff that's just his personality then Yuri can't see a reason to actually kill him.

On the other hand she's vehemently against murdering people, for obvious reasons. She doesn't know about Greed's abilities, so Greed is just a normal kinda-jackassy person to her. He's tolerable, at the very least. ]

You're a lot more powerful than he is, so if you don't have a reason it'd be like a bulldozer running over a neutered puppy with a gimp leg and a chipped tooth.

Wouldn't it? [ but nihilism runs in the otherselves' veins. It's common to start fights or to kill for the least of reasons...or for some of them- no reason at all. ] I have my reasons,but as I've said,they would not make it deserving.

...I'm not really close to him or anything, but I'm not going to leave someone alone who needs help being defended against someone who's trying to kill them. It's kind of complicated since half the people on the community seem like they either kill people regularly or want to kill people, then there's probably some who have killed people and aren't open about it. I can't just go around screaming at everyone who kills or has killed someone, it's not my business to judge that kind of thing. There's no way I could let it happen if I'm right there, but that goes for anyone so it doesn't really have to do much with it being Greed there unless you have a real reason that he should die. Not just whatever stupid fight you two had, which I'm probably guessing has to do with him being an asshole and you actually getting upset about it like it was some kind of secret.

only for the reason that someone was already dead. [ 'deserving'. Right. There's really little of that. she kinda figures everyone on the comm knows they dislike each other, so that Yuri didn't know who she was talking about in the first place surprised her ] It is hardlya secret anymore.
